Job Title: Digital Technician

We are seeking a skilled Digital Technician to join our team at JCDecaux Group. As a Digital Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing digital assets to ensure they are consistently maintained and cleaned to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine Planned Preventative Maintenance to all Digital assets in accordance with defined schedules and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Conduct a quality audit of the assets to highlight any remedial actions needed.
  • Accountable for Van Stock and on-site spare parts - adhere to stores booking-in/out and stock management procedures.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of a company vehicle and ensure that all vehicle-related documentation is correctly completed and handed in on time.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments ensuring that JCDecaux remains at the forefront of Digital Out Of Home (DOOH).
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years previous experience directly involved in troubleshooting and field repair of electro mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Must have basic electrical understanding/competency.
  • Computer literate, ability to use laptops, computers, smartphones, and other mobile devices.
  • An understanding of communications networks (WAN, LAN, cellular, and ADSL Routers).
  • Clean driver's license.
  • Experience with supporting digital screens and IT systems (desired).
  • Conversant with Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Word).
  • IPAF & PASMA trained and experience with MEWPs (desirable).
  • An aptitude for mechanical & technical tasks is essential.
  • Network Rail Training required (training provided).
  • Must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • A flexible approach as the role involves some travel as well as working unsociable hours.
