Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Area Cook to join our team at Highland Council. As an Area Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operational requirements of our kitchen or dining centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and serving of food in compliance with the School Health Promotion and Nutrition (Scotland) Act.
- Clean and maintain equipment, ensuring a safe and hygienic working environment.
- Collect, reconcile, and bank Highland Council monies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
