About Our Practice

Orchid House Surgery is a dynamic and patient-centered medical practice seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salaried General Practitioner to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate GP to work with our team of 4 GP Partners, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide face-to-face, telephone, and video consultations with patients
  • Check and authorize repeat prescriptions
  • Participate in the duty GP rota
  • Deal with patient queries and concerns
  • Manage paperwork and follow up on test results

Person Specification

We are seeking a qualified GP with excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of local and national health policy
  • Proficiency in PC skills, preferably with experience in SystmOne
  • High motivation and flexibility
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Full GMC Registration
  • National Performers List Registration
  • DBS Checked
  • Member of the Defence Union
