Aircraft Painting Position

The Recruitment Co. is currently looking for an experienced Aircraft Painter to work in Blackwood.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintaining high-quality standards while mixing and applying sealants, fillers, and paints to aircraft components
  2. Ensuring adherence to regulations by applying primer, top coat paint, and sprayed coatings
  3. Carrying out tasks such as straight masking, minor filling, and surface preparation
  4. Working closely with colleagues to maintain a safe and efficient working environment
Essential Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in an aircraft production setting is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively read and interpret technical documentation and follow precise instructions
  • Proficiency in basic arithmetic and English language skills for documentation purposes
  • Strong computer skills for accessing repair information and utilizing company software
Desirable Attributes:
  • Willingness to adapt to changing shift patterns as needed
  • A team-focused individual with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures, including those related to part documentation and evaluation

Compensation Package: The successful candidate can expect an estimated salary of £26,775 per year, supplemented by an additional £80 weekly shift allowance when required, resulting in a total estimated annual salary of around £35,500.
