We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at the Haas F1 Team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading American-owned team in the Formula 1 grid.

About the Role

This role reports directly to the Head of Electronics, where you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic systems for our on-car and off-car chassis electronics. You will work closely with the mechanical design team to ensure that all components meet the required performance and reliability standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in automotive or motorsport experience, with a sound understanding of electronics design and CAD software. Experience with PCB design tools and scientific analytical approaches is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electronic systems for on-car and off-car chassis electronics
  • Work closely with mechanical design team to ensure compliance with FIA, FOM, and supplier requirements
  • Monitor and improve electronic system designs, standards, and operational processes
  • Provide installation manuals and documentation for trackside installation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in electronics design and development
  • Strong knowledge of CAD software, including Catia/3DX
  • Experience with PCB design tools and scientific analytical approaches
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to your base salary, you can expect a bonus structure that rewards performance and contributions to the team.
