Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscape Architect to join our team as a Project Delivery Specialist. As a key member of our Place Improvements Team, you will be responsible for delivering landscape design services for a wide range of projects, including new public open spaces, liveable neighbourhood green infrastructure enhancement schemes, and sustainable urban drainage schemes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide landscape design services for the Place Improvements Team and external clients, including the preparation of documentation for landscape and construction contracts.
  • Plan and organise projects in accordance with agreed standards and timescales, developing practical approaches to resolve issues and manage delivery.
  • Determine the data/information required to assess and resolve problems, undertake analysis, and derive conclusions to provide solution options and make recommendations.
  • Provide specialist advice to customers on interpreting and applying policies and technical principles, ensuring effective customer relationships are maintained.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Landscape Architecture and membership of the Landscape Institute.
  • Considerable post-qualification experience of designing, developing, and delivering complex landscape and environmental projects, including budgetary and contract management.
  • Project management skills and a proven track record in the delivery of projects within set timescales and to budget.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience of working with architects, design consultants, and community groups.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and IT applications relevant to the post.
