About the Role:

NHS Highland invites applications for a highly skilled and motivated District Nursing Team Lead to join their team in providing exceptional patient care on the beautiful islands of Mull, Colonsay, Tiree, and Coll.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and operational management for the district nursing team
  • Influence and drive forward Community Nursing to deliver best possible patient-centred outcomes
  • Support the design and delivery of new models and pathways of care within the integrated team/servicess
  • Work collaboratively with the team to promote high standards of patient care and quality improvement

Requirements:

  • A first-level Registered General Nurse qualification and relevant specialist District nursing qualification
  • An in-depth knowledge of Community Nursing criteria, processes, and NHSH policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work flexibly in terms of location and develop support for other areas of team working within the Community Nursing service

Working Arrangements:

The post holder will be expected to work flexibly in terms of location and develop support for other areas of team working within the Community Nursing service. A flexible working pattern will be considered, and the base is negotiable. Consideration will be given to the right candidate being mainland-based.

Salary: Estimated £56,000 - £68,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
