Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine services and repairs on vehicle engines, transmission, brakes, air conditioning, security features, fuel systems, and other components.
- Conduct electronic vehicle health checks to identify potential issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems using technical knowledge and expertise.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently.
- Road test vehicles after repair or service work to ensure quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- Qualified vehicle technician with NVQ Level 3, IMI/C&G, or equivalent certification.
- Full UK manual driving license with fewer than 6 penalty points.
- Confident technical knowledge of various vehicle makes and models gained from main dealer experience.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers on a daily basis.
