Job Title: BIE Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled BIE Manager to join our team at Amazon Development Centre (London) Limited. As a BIE Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Business Intelligence Experts (BIEs) and working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality business intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, write, and drive detailed specifications for development and maintenance of robust reporting and other analytical systems
  • Work with partner tech teams to deliver an integrated roadmap, build prioritization framework, and operating model for the team
  • Build and manage a team of BIEs to deliver roadmap projects while also delivering their personal learning goals and growth
  • Build OP plans by working closely with senior leadership and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of business intelligence and analytics experience
  • 2+ years of delivering results managing a business intelligence or analytics team, including employee development and performance management experience
  • Experience with SQL, ETL, data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools, and statistical/machine learning software
  • Experience with data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, and hands-on SQL coding experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ELT, and reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures, and hands-on SQL coding experience
