Job Title: Digital Communications Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Communications Engineer to join our team at Staffordshire Police. As a key member of our Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Team, you will be responsible for transforming and supporting all of our digital technology needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the security, integrity, availability, and performance of our network and communications infrastructure in live operational use.
  • Support the transition of new/changed infrastructure from development and test environments into live usage.
  • Provide expert network and communication infrastructure knowledge to force projects and change initiatives as required.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate IT/Communication systems degree or equivalent.
  • Essential skills include ability to manage workloads and set priorities, leading project delivery, and understanding of networking/firewall technologies, principles, and topologies.
  • Experience and knowledge of ITIL processes and platform compliance and security.
