About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled FP&A Manager to join our team at Biosynth, a leading life sciences company. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in providing financial support to our global Complex Chemical division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the Complex Chemicals commercial and operational teams.
  • Develop and implement a regular finance reporting and analysis cadence.
  • Work closely with the financial accounting and commercial teams to provide month-end reporting packages, including in-depth analysis of performance drivers and key performance indicators.
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends, analyzing variances, and supporting gap-closing measures.
  • Support the development, training, and understanding of the Sales CRM tool.
  • Implement and lead the regular forecasting and budget cycle for the Complex Chemical division.
  • Provide the group finance team with a clear understanding and trajectory of the division.
  • Support the development of the SAP ecosystem alongside the Finance Process Excellence manager and IS team to improve speed and accuracy of reporting.
  • Work closely with the business to assist in the control and optimization of inventory levels and working capital.
  • Champion finance throughout the wider organization, delivering a high-quality finance provision that leads to high levels of trust within the business.
Key Deliverables and Performance Indicators
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of key business planning deliverables.
  • Financial reporting (monthly).
  • Key performance indicators.
Requirements
  • University degree in Business and/or Accounting desirable.
  • ACCA/CIMA qualified essential.
  • Knowledge in Pharmaceutical/Bio-Tech/Medical Device would be desirable but not essential.
  • Day-to-day experience of SAP.
  • Comfortable extracting and working with large data sets.
  • Positive attitude, capable, energetic, analytical with a solid understanding of accounting.
