About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at U-Educate. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to children with special needs, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring that children with special needs are fully included in the learning process.
  • Monitor and record children's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and making recommendations for future support.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social skills, emotional well-being, and self-esteem.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Current DBS registration or willingness to undergo a DBS check.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
