**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Coder to join our team at Oaks Hospital in Colchester. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for accurately coding medical procedures and diagnoses to ensure seamless data management.

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as contributory pension scheme, attractive enhancement rates for evenings and weekends, 25 days' annual leave, and private healthcare.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and maintain expertise in clinical coding and classification systems;
  • Analyze and code medical records for accuracy and consistency;
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to resolve coding discrepancies;

**Requirements:**

  • Foundation level clinical coding qualification or equivalent experience;
  • Demonstrated computer skills and proficiency in relevant software applications;
