Senior Assets Officer

At Hatched Recruitment Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Assets Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the performance and management of the repairs and contract side of the garages team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Portfolio Management: Contribute to the management of Homeownership Services, reporting to the Homeownership Manager on all matters relating to the management of garages and other non-residential properties.
  2. Team Leadership: Manage the Repairs and Contracts Officers day to day, driving performance improvements within the garages team, and managing a repairs portfolio.
  3. System Development: Assist with the development and maintenance of information systems to manage assets, staff, income collection, and other resources used at or in connection with homeownership and Exchequer Services.
  4. Performance Targets: Develop performance quality targets for the service area, and implement rigorous processing protocols across the team to ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and processes.
  5. Contract Management: Monitor and manage service and maintenance contracts to ensure compliance with client requirements, as well as Health & Safety legislation and protocols on all sites where repairs and maintenance are undertaken.
  6. Technical Support: Provide technical support in the repair & maintenance management of the garages portfolio, addressing Fire Safety and Health & Safety issues, and enhancing their aesthetic appeal.
  7. Inspections and Maintenance: Ensure that the garages, barrow stores, bike storage, and parking areas are fit for purpose, conducting regular communal inspections to identify areas of disrepair, anti-social behavior, or other issues that may prohibit lettings.
