SRG is seeking a skilled Microbiologist to join a world-leading pharmaceutical organisation in Barnard Castle. The successful candidate will have a strong background in microbiology or a related scientific discipline, with experience in a GMP laboratory setting.
Responsibilities:- Perform analytical techniques related to microbiological testing of medicines and environmental monitoring.
- Prepare and check analytical data accurately according to company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
- Assess the quality and accuracy of analytical results and determine if material meets pre-defined acceptance criteria.
- Support process investigations and process qualification and validation exercises.
- Minimum BSc qualification in Microbiology or related scientific discipline.
- Aware of basic GMP principles.
- Computer literate, competent in use of Microsoft packages.
- Experience in isolation and speciation techniques.
- Good aseptic techniques required.
