About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Children's Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Research Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, supporting the delivery of high-quality clinical research studies in the Women's and Children's Research Unit.

The successful candidate will work closely with Principal Investigators, clinical staff, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth conduct of clinical trials and non-interventional studies. This will involve providing education and training to clinical staff, coordinating research activities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal frameworks.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in clinical nursing, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for research. The ideal candidate will be proactive, flexible, and able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of clinical trials and non-interventional studies in the Women's and Children's Research Unit
  • Provide education and training to clinical staff on research-related topics
  • Coordinate research activities, including data collection and management
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal frameworks, including the Data Protection Act 1984 and Caldicott principles
  • Work collaboratively with Principal Investigators, clinical staff, and other stakeholders to achieve research goals
Requirements
  • Registered Children's Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Experience of working in a clinical research environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of regulatory and legal frameworks related to clinical research
