Gemini Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join our client's Wills and Probate Law department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on a range of Wills and Probate matters.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Report directly to the Department Director
  • Provide professional, proactive advice and guidance to clients on Wills and Probate matters
  • Manage a caseload of Wills and Probate cases, including estate administration, grant of probate, and inheritance tax planning
  • Assist with casework, including dealing with Wills, Probate, and Lasting Powers of Attorney cases
  • Attend clients, take instructions, and prepare cases
  • Deal with correspondence and maintain accurate time costing procedures
Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 1+ year's technical experience in Wills and Probate law
  • Valid Practising Certificate at the time of applying
  • Committed team player with excellent client care skills and ability to deal with client matters in a sensitive manner
  • Previous proven supervisory experience and working to key performance indicators
  • Excellent networking and communication skills with the ability to successfully market the Company and generate new business
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to use own initiative and sound judgment
  • Working knowledge of Wills and Probate work and ability to service privately funded cases
  • STEP qualification preferable but not essential
