Clinical Lead Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join our team at a beautiful Nursing home in Campsea Ashe. As a Clinical Lead Nurse, you will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of clinical care and governance in the Nursing home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with nurses and carers to ensure residents receive the best care and meet their needs through excellent nursing and clinical care.
  • Support the management team in ensuring the Nursing home meets the highest standards of clinical care and governance.
  • Lead the nursing team to deliver high-quality care and services to residents.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure the best possible care for residents.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
  • NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience.
  • Strong clinical skillset and confidence to lead the nursing team.
  • Prior management experience, or experience of leading a small team.
  • Ability to make clinical decisions and remain calm under pressure.
  • A passion for promoting best nursing practice and able to train, support and mentor others.
  • A desire to encourage positive working relationships within the team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A good working knowledge of audits, safeguarding, DOLS, CQC and compliance.
