About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Control Systems Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, working closely with the Project Coordinator on daily tasks, and taking the lead on all technical elements of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review specifications: Reviewing specifications for control systems, providing necessary information to the estimating team and controls partner to raise compliant quotes, and advising customers if compliance cannot be met.
  2. Liaise with partners: Liaising with our controls partner on technical aspects of projects and providing internal technical support to the rest of the business.
  3. Customer support: Being the main point of contact for customers on control systems, providing technical expertise and support, building good working relationships with customers, and ensuring repeat business.
  4. Process improvement: Proactively identifying gaps in products and services to support the company ethos of 'CANI' (Continuous and Never-ending Improvement) and product development.
  5. Knowledge sharing: Taking an active role in the continuous improvement of processes by monitoring project delivery and customer experience, developing and maintaining project and technical documentation, and building and keeping up-to-date knowledge on Building Regulations, National Standards, and Industry Best Practices.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Working knowledge of controls systems such as fire alarms or an electrical background.
  • Effective communication of technical information to less technical audiences.
  • Confident liaison with all levels of seniority within a business and ability to build good customer relationships.
  • Proactive, conscientious, and diligent problem-solving skills.

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
