Maintenance Team Manager

The role of Maintenance Lead is to oversee the maintenance and improvement of machinery and equipment within the FMCG manufacturing facility. This involves ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, managing labour resources, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop and mentor the engineering team
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Oversee the maintenance and improvement of machinery and equipment
- Coordinate with other departments for smooth operations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the department
- Accountable for delivery of PPM's
- Manage labour resources (budgets, absences, shift planning etc)
- Ensure site remains audit ready within Engineering department
- Management of stores and stock control
- Identify skill gaps and develop team
Requirements:
- Competence across Electrical and Maintenance Engineering with relevant qualifications
- Proven leadership skills with experience in managing a team
- Experience working within FMCG manufacturing facility
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
