Critical Leadership Role in Metals Distribution

CSG Talent is seeking an accomplished Head of Operations to oversee our UK operations, driving business expansion and excellence in metals distribution and value-added services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Leadership: Lead a team of 125 employees with five direct reports, fostering a positive work culture and strong relationships across all levels.
  2. Operational Oversight: Manage a critical cost center, focusing on quality, health and safety, cost per activity, on-time-in-full (OTIF) delivery, and people development.
  3. Supply Chain Management: Drive efficiencies across the supply chain and lead capital expenditure planning for ongoing and future projects.
  4. Mentorship and Collaboration: Serve as a mentor, supporting and guiding teams with a collaborative approach, attending daily huddles, and establishing yourself as a visible, approachable leader.

Requirements:

  1. Operational Expertise: Proven track record in senior operational roles within the Steel Industry or related sectors.
