About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychology Support Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Psychology Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting young pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to young pupils, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Work closely with class teachers to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Use your initiative to adapt activities and resources to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, their families, and school staff.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in Psychology or a related field.
  • Experience working with children with SEN and SEMH needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
