Job Title: HR Onboarding Coordinator

Avencia Consulting is seeking an experienced HR Onboarding Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for our candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Background Screening: Facilitate background screening and right to work checks for candidates, escalating any issues and supporting with reference checking as needed.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to ensure candidate onboarding is completed efficiently, including excel tracking and reporting.
  • Contract Generation: Ensure contract adjustments are included correctly and escalate to the wider HR team for approval.
  • Candidate Experience: Act as the key point of contact during onboarding, liaising with managers to ensure day one arrangements are made.
  • Support and Troubleshoot: Provide support by quickly interpreting situations, identifying points of escalation, and coordinating resolutions.
  • Audit and Ensure Data Integrity: Conduct audits of candidate files and communicate necessary changes and action items to ensure data accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, strong attention to detail, good time management, problem-solving, and issue resolution skills with a focus on ownership and accountability.
  • Recruitment/Talent Acquisition Experience: Previous experience working within HR or Talent Acquisition coordination is beneficial, though not essential.
  • Customer and Candidate Focus: Strong people focus and ability to build relationships quickly.
  • Workday Experience: Previous experience with Workday is desirable.
  • 3rd Party Management: Previous experience working with a 3rd party background screening supplier is advantageous.
  • MS Office Proficient: Experience using MS Office tools including Excel.
