About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Home Group Limited. As a dedicated care professional, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our customers.
Job Description
- The successful candidate will provide person-centred support to individuals with complex needs, including autism and learning disabilities.
- You will work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement individualised support plans, promoting independence and social inclusion.
- Familiarity with Positive Behavioural Support models is essential, as you will use this approach to support our customers in managing their behaviours and achieving their goals.
- In addition to your clinical skills, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with our customers, colleagues, and external partners.
- This role requires a patient and calm approach, with the ability to adapt your style to meet the unique needs of each customer.
Requirements
- A Level 2 Diploma in Adult Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification is required. If you do not currently hold this qualification, you must be willing to work towards it.
- Experience in Complex Care settings is essential, with a proven track record of supporting individuals with complex needs.
- You will have a good understanding of positive risk management principles and practices.
- Makaton skills are desirable but not essential.
- A full Enhanced DBS check is mandatory for this position.

- A competitive salary of £24,664 per annum (approximately £12.61 per hour).
