Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure and Application Operations Specialist to join our Platform Infrastructure Team at Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the successful provision, maintenance, and evolution of our SaaS Platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Provision and maintain secure physical and virtual infrastructure, including web, application, and database servers, as well as network appliances and protocols.
- Administer firewall management and network troubleshooting.
- Work closely with the Product Development and Technical Support teams to ensure an excellent customer experience.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and application operations and support.
- Demonstrable experience in cybersecurity best practices, including intrusion detection, firewalls, antivirus software, patch, and vulnerability management.
- Proficient in MS SQL Server operating system and database administration, query writing, and performance tuning.
- Experience with monitoring tools and proactive issue resolution to maintain system uptime.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey vision to management, peers, and business partners in a hybrid organization.
What We Offer
Up to $30 per hour - 6-month contract with potential for extension or full-time hire.
