Cybersecurity Role Overview

We are recruiting a skilled Cybersecurity Incident Response Engineer to join our AWS Security Operations Center team at ENGINEERINGUK. In this position, you will employ security strategies and procedures in accordance with service level agreements, policies, standards, and operating procedures. Responsibilities include analyzing security risks across the organization, escalating mitigation plans into actionable items, and consulting with other Amazon security teams on AWS security posture. Additional tasks include generating progress reports, briefs, and white papers regarding security concerns and operational opportunities for improvement that affect AWS data center operations. Successful candidates should have 4+ years of professional experience in software development or technical support and proficiency in Unix/Linux/Windows Operating Systems administration. Knowledge of web services and distributed systems is highly valued. Salary: $170,000 - $250,000 per year.
