Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Signage Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our AV installation team, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of digital signage and audio-visual systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out first and second fix installation activities on time and to the required standard.
  • Have excellent soldering, crimp, and terminating skills.
  • Work under instruction from senior engineers and project managers, but also think laterally and suggest engineering solutions on site.
  • Work from schematics, terminating sheets, site plans, and drawings, including ensuring that any changes are reflected on the schematics.
  • Manage, motivate, and be responsible for an onsite project team.
  • Ensure that systems are made ready for handover from installation to commissioning, including documentation.
  • Installation of video conferencing systems.
  • Installation of audio-visual systems.
Requirements
  • CTS qualified would be an advantage.
  • Strong ability to work alone and on own initiative.
  • Ability to carry out installation activities on time and to the required standard.
  • Be organized, flexible, and able to overcome challenges during the working day.
  • Very good communication skills.
  • Have a good understanding of 1st and 2nd fix AV installations.
  • Have excellent soldering, crimp, and terminating skills.
  • Be able to work from schematics, terminating sheets, site plans, and projector drawings.
  • Have strong mechanical skills.
  • Experience and understanding of control systems, AMX/Crestron would be an advantage.
  • Experience and understanding of video conferencing systems would be an advantage.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least two years' experience of production and wiring methods and carried out previous installation work in the AV industry.
  • A full, clean UK driving license is essential.
