About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Dental Nurse to join our Emergency Dental Service team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a Bank Dental Nurse, you will provide clinical and clerical support to our Trust-employed Dental Practitioners, working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical support to Dental Practitioners in emergency dental care
  • Prepare the surgery for patients and assist the dentist as needed
  • Undertake reception duties and administrative tasks within the Emergency Dental Service
  • Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality patient care

Requirements

  • GCSEs or equivalent in relevant subjects
  • Registered with the General Dental Council (GDC)
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of dental and medical emergencies
