Job Title: Dust Cart Driver

We are seeking a skilled Dust Cart Driver to join our waste management team at MC Personnel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating a refuse lorry, collecting waste from various locations, and ensuring that the service is delivered in an efficient and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely Operate a Refuse Lorry: Comply with all relevant safety and traffic regulations while operating a Class 2 refuse lorry.
  • Complete Waste Collection Rounds: Adhere to established routes and schedules to ensure timely and efficient waste collection.
  • Work with a Crew: Load and transport household or commercial waste alongside a team of experienced professionals.
  • Maintain Vehicle: Ensure the proper maintenance and cleanliness of the vehicle to ensure optimal performance.
  • Communicate with Team: Collaborate with supervisors and team members to address any issues or changes in the collection process.
  • Complete Paperwork: Accurately complete necessary paperwork and log sheets to maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • A valid Class 2 (Category C) driving license is essential for this role.
  • Proven experience as a refuse driver or in a similar role is required.
  • A strong understanding of refuse collection procedures and safety guidelines is necessary.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.
  • A positive, reliable attitude and a strong work ethic are required for success in this position.
Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday, starting at 7:00 AM each day, with flexibility in working hours depending on the demands of the job.
