SEN Teacher

We are looking for an exceptional SEN Mathematics Teacher to join our team in Bilston. As a key member of our staff, you will work with students with a range of special educational needs, developing engaging mathematics lessons that cater to their individual needs.

**Job Description:**

• Teaching Mathematics: Create and deliver tailored mathematics lessons for students with SEN, using a range of teaching strategies and materials.
• Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with the SENCo, teaching assistants, and other colleagues to create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and ensure that all students receive the appropriate support.
• Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess, monitor, and report on the progress and attainment of students, adapting teaching methods as necessary to ensure success.
• Fostering a Positive Environment: Develop a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes students' confidence and self-esteem.
• Parent Engagement: Engage with parents and carers to provide updates on student progress and strategies to support learning at home.

**Requirements:**

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Previous experience teaching Mathematics to students with special educational needs.
• Strong knowledge of strategies and interventions for teaching maths to SEN students.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
