Lunchtime Support Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be working with a highly respected SEND school in Scunthorpe, who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lunchtime Support Assistant to assist pupils during lunchtime.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of pupils during lunchtime, as well as helping with the serving of food and drinks, leading activities and games, and maintaining a calm and positive atmosphere in the school dining area.
This is a part-time position working from 11:45 am to 1:45 pm, Monday to Friday. The hourly rate for this role ranges from £12.83 to £13.83 per hour, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pupils during lunchtime
- Assist with the serving of food and drinks
- Lead activities and games
- Maintain a calm and positive atmosphere in the school dining area

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
