Cardiology Nurse Specialist

Job Summary:
Spire Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiology Nurse to join their team at Spire Cardiff Hospital. As a Cardiology Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement evidence-based practice in the assessment and management of patients with cardiovascular conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health and wellbeing needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions.
- Lead by example, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the Cardiology department.
- Develop and maintain expertise in cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures, ensuring competence in circulating and scrubbing for a variety of procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and research, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse - NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions.
- Post-registered qualification in an appropriate clinical cardiac specialism.
- Experience in circulating and scrubbing for a variety of Cardiac Cath. Lab procedures.
- Competence across a range of nursing skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge.
- Possess the mandatory training requirements for the role, including infection control and health and safety competencies.
- English language proficiency to IELTS 7.
