Route Delivery Manager

We are seeking a skilled Route Delivery Manager to join our team at beBee Professionals in the United Kingdom. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to customers, maintaining excellent service and adherence to delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage delivery routes and schedules, using your knowledge of the area to optimize routes and reduce delivery times.
- Load and unload goods, handling items with care to prevent damage and ensure efficient loading and unloading.
- Follow delivery routes and time schedules accurately, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Maintain the delivery vehicle in good working condition, adhering to regular maintenance schedules and performing routine checks.
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery times and resolve any issues that may arise, providing excellent customer service and support.
- Complete delivery records and paperwork accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment and minimizing the risk of accidents.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driver's license (Category B or higher).
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role, with a strong emphasis on customer service and delivery efficiency.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple deliveries.
- Good communication and customer service abilities, with a focus on providing excellent service and support.
- Ability to handle and lift heavy items, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.
- Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our customers.
