We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Home Manager to lead our medium-sized Elderly Care Home in Torquay. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the overall management of the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, including staff supervision and coordination.
  • Develop and implement effective budgets to ensure the financial stability of the care home.
  • Conduct regular staff appraisals, meetings, and disciplinaries to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Liaise with external healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our residents.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC and company policies, maintaining a high level of quality and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a care home setting, with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, residents, and external partners.
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on staff development and retention.
  • Knowledge of CQC regulations and company policies, with the ability to ensure compliance and maintain high standards.
