About the Role

We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate professionals to work with us as Clinical Healthcare Specialists. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and providing reports to support the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) decision-making process.

In this role, you will work autonomously to assess the cases of individuals applying for a Work Capability Assessment. You will use your clinical expertise to gather information, interpret medical evidence, and write comprehensive reports that meet the highest standards.

Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will enable you to build rapport with clients and provide them with a positive experience. Your ability to work independently, combined with your IT competence, will allow you to manage your workload efficiently and effectively.

As a Clinical Healthcare Specialist, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through our comprehensive training program. You will also be able to earn over 100 hours of CPD points within your first three months, ensuring your continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals applying for a Work Capability Assessment
  • Interpret medical evidence and gather findings into comprehensive reports
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with the DWP to ensure accurate and timely reporting
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum of one year's post-registration experience in a relevant field, such as nursing, physiotherapy, or occupational therapy
  • Current registration with the NMC or HCPC
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
  • Strong IT skills and proficiency in using digital platforms
