About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Planner to join our team at Marshall Group. As a key member of our Programme Planning team, you will be responsible for delivering integrated project planning and scheduling activities across a programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, providing project planning reports and metrics.
  • Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and work with the programme team to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Resource load programme/project schedules and support the generation of monthly SPI, CPI, and EVM information.
  • Evaluate project schedule outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Mentor junior planners and project teams to enhance their appreciation of project planning.
  • Manage the incorporation of authorised changes into the Project Contract Master Schedule (CMS).
Requirements
  • Experience in front-line project planning roles, ideally in the defence domain.
  • Understanding of engineering development principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Subject matter expertise in project planning tools and techniques, including project control and reporting.
  • Practitioner in EVM, SPI, and CPI.
  • Experience in generating Critical Path Analysis and Risk Adjusted Schedules.
