Senior Manager, Finance Business Partner

We're seeking a Senior Manager, Finance Business Partner to join our team in London on a 12-month secondment.

The Senior Manager, Finance Business Partner will partner with the Divisional MD and leadership team to ensure financial discipline and transparency, and to rigorously apply Capital Allocation assessments.

Providing finance business partnership to the MD and supporting the MD in realizing their financial objectivesSupporting the MD in improving the efficiency of the function and ensuring all services are correctly priced and charged to customers; acting as the financial interface with customers together with the leadership teamEnsuring the production of monthly financial information to enable the MD to monitor the performance of the business/Service Company; and benchmarking with other similar businessesEnabling an efficient process and tooling to facilitate financial reviews for monthly actuals and forecasts as well as the budget cycleResponsible for forecast accuracy and overview of risks and opportunitiesLeading the process in collaboration with the Capital Strategy Team to set LRP strategy and proactively analyzing results to redirect where requiredChallenging group performance and initiating improvement/closing the gap initiativesReviewing business cases from a financial perspective on rationale and performing post-mortem analysisDriving the planning and control framework into the capital governance process via the Capital Investment Committee (CIC) and Portfolio Investment Board (PIB) where applicableContinuously seeking to strengthen and optimize the wider Group Control teams' way of working through initiatives such as further P2P optimization as well as standardized working practicesResponsible for the financial translation of business issues and developmentsCreating and fostering a proactive approach to smarter, cost-effective support and implementation models that challenge the status quoWe tend to look for people with:Accounting qualification, i.e. CIMA, ACCA, ACAStrong record of performance working in a similar role, in a complex environmentAnalytically strong and pragmatic with a long-term visionAbility to apply sound business practices and work with senior managementResults-driven, output-focused team playerExperience of translating budgets in business cases into operational impact assessmentsKnowledge of USGAAP, Accounting principles & SOX guidelinesWhat's in it for you?Competitive salary + bonus25 days annual leave with the option to purchase 5 moreAccess to wellbeing and mental health benefits such as the Calm app, personal medical, critical illness cover and dental insuranceMatched pension contribution up to 10%Access to our car benefit schemeAccess to our online learning platform to continue to develop and grow your career with usThe chance to join an innovative, fast-paced and passionate teamWho we are:
