Network Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team at Pure Resourcing Solutions. As a Network Engineer, you will play a key role in upgrading and maintaining our client's network infrastructure, ensuring it is modern, efficient, and secure.
Key Responsibilities:- Network Infrastructure Upgrade: Lead the upgrade and improvement of the organisation's current network infrastructure.
- Network Device Management: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Network Performance Monitoring: Monitor and optimise network performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Network Security: Ensure network security by managing firewalls, VPNs, and following best practices.
- Network Solutions Design: Assist with the design, implementation, and documentation of network solutions.
- Network Diagnostics: Conduct diagnostics and performance tests to ensure network health.
- Network Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations and changes.
- General IT Support: Support the wider IT team to provide more general IT support (1st & 2nd Line) to the organisation.
- Network Infrastructure Experience: Demonstrable experience of managing company network infrastructure, including the configuration of routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Network Protocols: Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and security.
- VPN and Firewall Management: Experience with VPNs and firewall management.
- IT Infrastructure Knowledge: Knowledge of IT infrastructure and the ability to provide general IT support.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Excellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
This role will operate across multiple sites in and around Norwich, so you must have access to your own vehicle.
