">We are looking for a highly skilled Highly Skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team at the Fife site of a leading multinational oil and gas corporation. This 12-month contract opportunity offers full-time on-site work within an IR35 framework.
The successful candidate will play a key role in working safely to deliver world-class maintenance competitiveness as part of the overall site transformation roadmap. They will collaborate with the site operations team to execute planned maintenance tasks efficiently and safely, while also participating in Root Cause Failure Analysis to identify and mitigate future equipment failures.
Key Responsibilities
- Partnering with the First Line Supervisor to develop and build their safety capacity.
- Collaborating with site operations teams to execute planned maintenance tasks.
- Carrying out Root Cause Failure Analysis and identifying mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- A strong background in mechanical maintenance, preferably with experience in the Oil and Gas or Petrochemical Industry.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs.
Estimated Annual Salary: £60,000 - £75,000.
