Scheduling Performance Officer

The Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Scheduling Performance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our inpatient scheduling department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient management of patient pathways and the delivery of high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the inpatient waiting list, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information
- Work with the scheduling team to ensure all members are trained and confident in applying the Elective Access policy
- Identify and address training gaps within the clinical and non-clinical workforce
- Monitor and validate the inpatient waiting list to achieve local and national performance targets
- Participate in the management of projects related to patient pathway systems
- Provide ad-hoc reports and represent the scheduling team at directorate meetings
Requirements:
- GCSE Level or equivalent in Mathematics and English
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- High level of proficiency in computer and information systems
Desirable:
- ECDL qualification
- Experience of using hospital information systems and training others
- Proven track record of working under pressure and managing elective admissions
