Job Title: Front End Software Engineer 3D

We are seeking a highly skilled Front End Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative products using React and TypeScript. As a Front End Engineer at Rovco, you will play a crucial role in building and enhancing the frontends for a range of products, including SubSLAM Autonomy and the Vaantage suite.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, prototype, and develop the Front End to solve complex problems
  • Advocate for User Experience design and guide the Engineering teams
  • Collaborate with Researchers, Designers, and Engineers to build consensus
  • Modify and test changes to previously developed products
  • Break down requirements and build appropriate solutions
  • Contribute to and uphold agile development practices
  • Guide and build consistency in design and an exceptional user experience
Requirements:
  • Experience in developing production-level ReactJS and TypeScript for front-end applications
  • Experience with 3D rendering, including web-based frameworks such as ThreeJS, WebGL, and WebGPU
  • Knowledge of rendering pipelines and techniques, point clouds, meshes, shader programming, and mathematics such as transformations and linear algebra
  • Experience with APIs and data sources to build interactive and engaging applications
  • Proficiency in software development tooling such as Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
