About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Community Recovery Advocate. You will be working closely with clients who require varying levels of support, including assistance with personal care, medication, and daily living activities. Your primary goal will be to help them achieve their recovery goals and maintain their independence.
In this rewarding role, you will receive comprehensive training, including our standard carer training and advanced courses in Reablement, Advanced Risk Assessment, Peg Feeding, Wound Care, and Stoma Care. Our training program is designed to equip you with the necessary skills to excel in your role and provide the highest level of care to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes
- Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, washing, toileting, and medication administration
- Help clients set and achieve their recovery goals
- Work collaboratively with Occupational Health and Physiotherapists to ensure comprehensive client care
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to client care
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A willingness to undergo comprehensive training and professional development
