Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our engineering department on a full-time permanent basis. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for fitting and assembling mechanical components and systems onboard ships, ensuring systems function with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fitting and assembling mechanical components and systems onboard ships according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Installation of engineering components, including engines, pumps, valves, and propulsion systems, with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Use of hand and power tools, as well as precision measuring instruments.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Fitter or in a similar role in a manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environment.
  • Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings.
