Principal Electronics Development Engineer

We are seeking a Principal Electronics Development Engineer to join our team at Eaton. As a principal engineer in electronics development, you will be responsible for leading the development of electronic products, ensuring they meet the required specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile aerospace projects and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of electronic products from concept creation to design, development, qualification, and industrialization.
  • Support business with day-to-day sustaining type activities, including the use of alternative electronic sub-assemblies due to supply chain constraints/obsolescence or reliability concerns.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for electronic products within the Eaton portfolio.

Requirements:
  • Analogue electronics and/or Power electronics design experience.
  • Engineering degree or equivalent with strong technical problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of Matlab/Simulink, Saber, or similar analogue simulation tools is a distinct advantage.
