About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Supervisor to join our team at a school in Hertfordshire. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the school's facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and facilities management, with experience working in a similar environment. You will be responsible for supervising work across the school, communicating effectively with internal and external contractors, and carrying out routine maintenance tasks as required.

This is a full-time position, 5 days a week, 8am - 4pm, Monday - Friday. The salary for this role is estimated to be around £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key responsibilities include:
* Communicating effectively with the facilities team to ensure projects are completed on time
* Carrying out day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs
* Ensuring the building and grounds are secure when not in use
* Opening and closing the building daily
* Checking heating, lighting, and alarm systems regularly to ensure they are operational
* Ordering equipment relevant to your role

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* Experience working within a school environment
* A valid DBS check on the DBS update service
* Be available to interview and start immediately
