Job Title: Year 3 Primary School Teacher

About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Year 3 Primary School Teacher to join our team at a vibrant and fun primary school based in Bromley. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses.
  • Develop maths ability and introduce fractions, statistics, and geometry.
  • Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
  • Keep track of children's progress and occasionally report back to parents.

The school is a 2-form entry school located in a lovely residential area of Bromley. It has a friendly environment that welcomes early career teachers (ECTs) with open arms. The school aspires to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through its supportive pastoral environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching primary school students, ideally in KS2
  • A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Good behaviour management skills, with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Enhanced DBS check and professional references
