Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled MEP Project Coordinator to join our team at Design Careers Associates Limited. As an MEP Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our MEP projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Producing and managing project programmes to ensure timely completion and critical path identification.
  • Collating and validating project progress and programme constraints, and reporting to senior management.
  • Conducting regular site visits to review progress, identify delays, and assess critical path analysis.
  • Developing relationships with internal teams, consultants, and clients to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Working closely with the site team to manage programme and planning activities on allocated projects.
  • Preparing short-term programmes and carrying out project-specific exercises such as reprogramming and resource allocation.
  • Attending meetings as required, including team meetings, sub-contractor, and design meetings.
  • Monitoring changes and assessing their impact on agreed programmes.
  • Where applicable, carrying out delay analysis and preparing reports to assist with EOT applications.
  • Suggesting programme recovery actions or programme betterment opportunities.
  • Maintaining full change log records for all programmes, as per Planning Process.

Key requirements for this role include:

  • Intermediate or advanced level user of Elecosoft PowerProject.
  • Excellent MEP knowledge, including infrastructure, installation, and commissioning sequences of M&E services.
  • Excellent knowledge of the construction process from feasibility to handover.
  • Excellent appreciation of the issues and challenges of developing and managing project programmes for residential building projects through all lifecycle stages.
  • Proven understanding of the full project cycle and any relative constraints.
  • Excellent IT skills and relevant knowledge of Planning software, including Asta PowerProject/ MS Project.
