About the Role

Interactive Investor is seeking a highly skilled UX Design Manager to lead our design team in creating exceptional user experiences across our digital products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of usability, accessibility, and visual appeal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design efforts with business goals and delivery squads.
  • Oversee the design team to ensure that all deliverables meet high-quality standards, adhering to established design principles and maintaining consistency across all products and platforms.
  • Establish and enforce a consistent design language and style guide across all digital products to ensure a cohesive user experience.
  • Champion digital accessibility and ensure that all digital products are usable by people with diverse abilities and comply with relevant accessibility standards.
  • Mentor and develop the design team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and innovation.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and act as a liaison between design, development, product, and marketing teams.
  • Promote a user-centered design approach across the organization, ensuring that user needs and feedback are at the forefront of the design process.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and managing a team of UX designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, including experience with user research, personas, journey mapping, and usability testing.
  • Expertise in industry-standard design tools and other prototyping and wireframing tools.
  • Strong ability to create visually compelling and aesthetically pleasing designs, with attention to detail in typography, color theory, layout, and overall visual hierarchy.
  • Knowledge of digital accessibility standards and best practices, with experience in designing inclusive products that are accessible to users of all abilities.
  • Ability to analyze user data, feedback, and design performance metrics to inform design decisions and drive continuous improvement.
