Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Youth Worker to join our team at a SEMH secondary school in Altrincham. This is an exciting opportunity for recent Youth Work Graduates to embark on their careers and make a positive impact on the lives of students in Key Stage 3 and 4. The successful candidate will work closely with the school staff to provide one-to-one, targeted interventions during lessons and break times.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide support to students with SEMH needs in a full-time position from Monday to Friday.
  • Collaborate with the school staff to uphold the core values of the SEMH school.
  • Deliver high-quality support to students in Key Stage 3 and 4 across various subject areas.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, staff, and parents to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and policies to meet the unique needs of students with EHCPs.
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with students with SEN or SEMH needs is essential.
  • Competitive daily rate of £83.85+ through PAYE, paid on a weekly basis.
