The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist support to children and young people diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) within our 38-52 week school and home environment.
Located in the beautiful Dorset countryside, our school boasts a range of facilities including a theatre, sports hall, riding areas, climbing wall, play areas, and a swimming pool.
Our National Curriculum program is tailored to meet the needs of our students, who have access to specialist education and 24-hour care with various clinical and therapeutic inputs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing speech and language therapy to children and young people with ASD
- Working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop individualized plans
- Supporting students in achieving their academic and personal goals
Requirements:
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy or related field
- Experience working with children and young people with ASD
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
